2015-16: In his sophomore season, DeJarnett finished with an overall record of 6-14 and a dual record of 2-7. He had two falls for a total of two pins.

2014-15: DeJarnett finished the season with an overall record of 2-11 and a dual record of 0-2. He competed in the 165, 174, and 184 pound weight class for the Braves. DeJarnett earned his first collegiate victory in a fall over Dequaylon Gray of Arkansas Baptist College at the American Wrestler SW Open (11/22).

High School: DeJarnett earned four letters in football, two in wrestling, and two in baseball for Wellington High School. He earned Honorable Mention All-AVCTL Division IV honors at offensive line. DeJarnett was a two-time All-AVCTL Division IV Second Team selection in wrestling for the Crusaders.
