Sandoval is entering his first season on the coaching staff as a student assistant after spending two season as a wrestler for the Braves.

2017-18: Redshirt

2016-17: In his first collegiate season, Sandoval finished the year with an overall record of 1-3 and a dual record of 0-2.

High School: Sandoval earned four letters in wrestling at Pahrump Valley High School. He helped Pahrump Valley High School to a 2014-15 Nevada D-1A State Team Championship, a 2013-15 and 2014-15 Nevada D-1A Southern Team Championship, and three Nevada D-1A Southern Sunset League Team Championships.  Sandoval finished his four year career with an overall record of 73-22. He went 22-7 as a freshman, 21-14 as a sophomore, 20-6 as a junior and 10-5 his senior season.

Personal: Sandoval is the son of Adrian and Celeste Sandoval and plans to concentrate on general studies before deciding on a major.
