Biography

2025-26: As a junior Nowell had an overall record of 18-15, a mark of 2-1 in duals, and finished the season with 11 falls and one technical fall. 

2024-25: Nowell finished his sophomore season with an overall record of 14-16. He had seven falls and two technical falls. 

2023-24: As a freshman, Nowell competed at 125 pounds (3-2) and 133 pounds (2-2). He finished the season with an overall record of 5-4 and had three falls. 

High School: Nowell placed four times in NCHSAA state tournament, Nowell earned second twice, fourth once and in 2021 he was the 126lb NCHSAA State Champion. He was a 2022 NC All Star Team Member. Nowell was a four-time Smoky Mountain Conference Champion, 2021 SMC Wrestler of the Year and a two-time NC Western Regional Champion. He holds the school record for career pins at Robbinsville High School with 107.
