Coach Piper is in his first season as a graduate student assistant with the Ottawa University men's basketball program.
Piper is no stranger to the Braves, having spent four years as a student-athlete with the OU men's basketball program. He attended Ottawa from 2021 to 2025 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance in May 2025.
Piper is pursuing his Master of Business Administration in Sports Business at Ottawa University. His graduate studies have included coursework in financial risk management, accounting, marketing, money and banking, and crypto assets.
Away from basketball, Piper has worked for Grandstand Glassware and Apparel. He began as a seasonal production worker in 2020 before moving into a full-time production role in 2025.
Piper was also named to the Dean's Honor Roll during his time at Ottawa University.
