Cain Scott

Cain Scott joined the Ottawa University soccer staff in July 2021. As an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s soccer programs, Scott has helped coach Ottawa University to a 61-39-22 (.590) overall record and 44-18-14 (.671) conference record. 

While on staff, he helped guide the Braves men’s program to a No. 15 national ranking, three consecutive KCAC Conference Tournament Runners-Up finishes (22’-25’), and two NAIA Men’s Soccer National Tournament appearances (23’, 25’), where the Braves season ended in the Round of 16. Scott also helped guide the Braves women’s soccer program to a KCAC Tournament quarter-final appearance in his first season with the program. 

Scott holds a UEFA B License, USSF C License and United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching Diploma. He is currently pursuing his USSF B Coaching License. 

Scott attended and played soccer at Ottawa University for four years. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Ottawa University in 2021 and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Ottawa University in 2022.
