Coach Wagner is in her first season as an assistant coach with the OU cheer and STUNT programs.
Wagner will remain connected to the Ottawa University cheer program after completing a four-year career as a Brave from 2022 to 2026. She earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors in 2023, was a national cheerleading qualifier in 2023 and 2024 and served as a team captain during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons. Wagner was also a member of Ottawa's Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) in 2025 and 2026.
Wagner brings coaching experience from Topeka Elite Cheer, where she served as an All-Star Cheer Coach from 2022 to 2024. She coached competitive high school-level teams and college-level tumbling classes and helped choreograph routines for high school programs throughout Kansas. She also previously worked as a gymnastics coach at Evolution Gymnastics from 2017 to 2021, coaching recreational and tumbling classes and serving as head coach of a preschool competitive team.
A May 2026 graduate of Ottawa University, Wagner earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Allied Health.
