Coach Carpenter is in his second season as a student assistant with the Ottawa University bowling programs.
Carpenter brings experience within the Ottawa bowling program to the coaching staff after competing for the Braves. During his time as a student-athlete, Carpenter earned the 2024-25 All-KCAC Scholar-Athlete Award and was the recipient of the program’s 2023-24 Players Choice Award.
During Carpenter’s time with the program, Ottawa men’s bowling continued to establish itself as one of the top programs in the KCAC. The Braves finished third at the 2024-25 KCAC Tournament before capturing the 2025-26 KCAC Tournament Championship and advancing to the 2026 NAIA National Tournament. The 2025-26 season also included tournament championships at the Columbia Cougar Clash and KCAC Tournament.
In his role as a student assistant, Carpenter will work primarily with the women’s junior varsity team while also providing support to the men’s and women’s varsity programs. He will assist with the development of Ottawa’s bowlers and support the coaching staff throughout practices and competitions.
