Jackson Mueller

Jackson Mueller is in his first year as a Graduate Assistant with Ottawa University Athletic Performance.

Mueller joined the Braves in January 2026 and is responsible for the design and implementation of training programs for the Ottawa men's basketball, baseball, men's and women's track and field, and men's and women's golf programs. He also assists with the design and implementation of the football program's strength and conditioning training and collaborates with coaches and sports medicine staff regarding practice design, student-athlete needs, and injury history.

During the summer of 2026, Mueller served as a football strength and conditioning intern at the University of Kansas. While with the Jayhawks, he assisted with facility operations and led student-athletes through warm-ups, speed training, strength training, and conditioning. He gained experience working with Hawkin Dynamics Force Plates, TruStrength, and TENDO units.

Before coming to Ottawa, Mueller spent the 2025 calendar year as a strength and conditioning intern at Grand View University. He developed and implemented strength programs for the men's and women's tennis teams while assisting with programming for football, men's and women's basketball, softball, baseball, women's volleyball, and men's and women's wrestling.

Mueller earned his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology from Grand View University in 2025, graduating with a 3.976 GPA. He was named to the President's List six times and the Dean's List once. Mueller was also a member of the Grand View football program, serving as a leader within the offensive line group and as a peer mentor for freshman teammates.

Mueller is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association.

A native of Johnston, Iowa, Mueller is pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership at Ottawa University.
