Jacob Lehman is in his first season as a Graduate Assistant for Ottawa University Men’s Basketball.
Lehman brings a diverse background in coaching, operations, and player development across multiple levels of collegiate and grassroots basketball. Before joining Ottawa, he served as a Graduate Assistant at Wayland Baptist University, where he contributed to scouting, recruiting coordination, and day-to-day player development.
Prior to his time at Wayland, Lehman spent three years in the Dallas–Fort Worth area working in both college athletics, high-level AAU He was the Director of Basketball Operations at Dallas Christian College under veteran coach Larry Tidwell, overseeing logistics, travel, and program organization. Lehman also coached and held leadership roles in prominent AAU programs, including serving as Vice President of Operations for Texas Express Basketball Club and Team Phoenix Basketball (NB circuit). In that role, he managed staffing, coordinated events, and aided in college placement for student-athletes.
Lehman began his coaching journey at TCU, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Education in 2021. While at TCU, he gained experience assisting the Horned Frogs' men’s basketball program at the Division I level.
He is currently pursuing his master’s degree at Ottawa University, serving as the Head Coach of the JV Gold Team while assisting with recruiting, and operations for the Braves.
