Coach Montague is in her first season as Coordinator of Cheer and Dance at Ottawa University
Montague comes to Ottawa with extensive experience working with cheerleaders throughout the country. She has spent the past four years on the Varsity Spirit UCA Staff, working with thousands of athletes at residential camps, home camps, commuter camps, spirit circuits and other events. Her experience has taken her across nine states, including working camps with more than 750 athletes. Montague has also assisted high school programs throughout Kansas with cleaning and preparing routines.
Montague has also worked on the Varsity Spirit Competition Staff, staffing the Kansas high school state game day competition for cheer and dance for three consecutive years. Her background includes collegiate-level stunting and game day experience, along with an emphasis on relationship building and recruiting.
Montague graduated from Friends University in May 2026 with Latin honors.
