Coach Ford is in his first season as the running backs coach for the Ottawa University football program. He is also pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Sports Business at Ottawa University after earning his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands.
Ford brings a diverse background in leadership, mentorship, and service to the Braves' coaching staff. Prior to joining Ottawa, he served as an assistant coach for the University of Redlands Girls Flag Football program while also working as a tutor and volunteer with Operation New Hope, mentoring at-risk and formerly incarcerated youth.
A former student-athlete at the University of Redlands, Ford played NCAA Division III football at quarterback and safety. During his time on campus, he was an active member of Gamma Delta Rho, serving as the organization's New Member Educator and Study Hour Lead.
In addition to his coaching experience, Ford has developed strong leadership and communication skills through a variety of professional roles, including team leadership in the food service industry and his current position as a package handler with FedEx. He also has experience in American Sign Language and enjoys performing as a percussionist at private events.
