Coach Menefee is in her first season as an assistant coach with the Ottawa University dance program.
Menefee brings a strong connection to Ottawa University along with a background in dance, coaching, communication and leadership. She currently works at Ottawa University and has been part of the University community professionally since January 2022.
Menefee earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Ottawa University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in December 2021 before earning a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources in December 2023. She also earned an associate degree in general studies from Johnson County Community College.
Her professional experience at Ottawa University includes serving as a graduate assistant in human resources from January 2022 to May 2023, HR recruitment coordinator from May 2023 to July 2025 and HR operations specialist since July 2025. Through those roles, Menefee has gained experience working with students and employees while developing skills in organization, communication and leadership.
Menefee's background also includes experience in coaching and dance, along with strengths in effective communication, flexibility and working with people.
