Coach Valdez is in her first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Ottawa University women's indoor and beach volleyball programs.
She was a four-time NAIA All-American earning First Team honors in 2023, Second Team honors in 2024, and Valdez was an Honorable Mention selection in 2022. While at Lindsey Wilson College, she was named Honorable Mention All-American in 2021. Valdez finished her three years at OU with 1,233 kills, averaged 3.5 kills per set, had a .361 attacking percentage, 31 service aces, 229 digs, and 333 blocks.
Valdez graduated from OU with her degree in communcations in December of 2024.
