Braves Selected to Place First and Third in the KCAC at the KCAC Dance Media Day

OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University competitive dance team has been selected to finish first by the KCAC media and third by the conference coaches at the 2022-23 KCAC Competitive Dance Media Day.

In the KCAC Media Poll, Ottawa received two first place votes. Tied for second was York University and Bethel College. The Panthers received three first place votes.

In fourth was Kansas Wesleyan University, fifth McPherson College, sixth Bethany College, and tied for seventh was Friends University and Southwestern College.

In the KCAC Coaches Poll, York was selected to win the KCAC. YU received five first place votes. In seconds was Bethel with one first place vote. Picked to finish third was Ottawa with one first place vote.

In fourth was Kansas Wesleyan. The Coyotes received the final first place vote. Fifth McPherson, sixth Southwestern, seventh Bethany, and eighth Friends.

Avila University and the University of Saint Mary will not be competing in the KCAC Dance Championships.

The Braves will start their competitive season on Friday, Jan. 27 at Kansas Wesleyan University.
