DES MOINES, Iowa – The Ottawa University dance team finished ninth at the Viking Challenge with an overall score of 147.4.

The Braves competed in two duals at the challenge. Ottawa lost to Hope International University 78.85-73.40 but rebounded to take a 74-68.55 victory over William Woods University.

St. Ambrose University won the event with a score of 185.8, in second was Midland University (182), and finishing in third was Grand View University (171.89).

Ottawa returns to competition on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan.
