Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women's soccer team capped off their season with another win as they beat Sterling 3-1 on the road on Saturday afternoon. In a game filled with delays,
Jessenia Velez began the scoring for Ottawa with a tenth minute goal. Sterling got one back in the 27th, and the game was tied at halftime. Velez found the net again in the 55th, and
Rebecca Lilley provided the insurance goal in the 82nd minute.
Ottawa (7-5-6, 7-1-5 KCAC) takes the field next weekend in the KCAC Tournament quarterfinals. Game details will be announced later.
