Braves Win Two Matches at the KCAC Match Play Event

DODGE CITY, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's golf team competed at the KCAC Match Play event in Dodge City, Kansas.

Ottawa won their first match against York College, 5-0. Spencer Seachris, Tristan Martinez, Ethan Brumbaugh, Sebastian Camacho and Arthur Karouby all won their individual matches to move Ottawa to the semifinals. In the semifinal match, Ottawa fell to Bethany, 3-2. Karouby and Brumbaugh won their respective individual matches. In the final round, the Braves took down Southwestern 4-1. Camacho, Seachris, Karouby and Brumbaugh lifted the Braves to victory in that match.

The Braves will be back in action on Monday, October 16th at the Friends University tournament in Wichita, Kan. It will be a two-day tournament.
