OTTAWA, Kan. – The #9 Ottawa University men's wrestling team opened up the 2023-24 season by defeating the Bethany College Swedes, 52-3 on Tuesday in Wilson Field House.
Benjamin Pope won by forfeit in the 125lb weight division.
Braden Ledford won by technical fall in the 133lb weight division. In the 141lb weight division,
Angelo Reyes won by forfeit.
Brandon Kidd Jr., Francis Morrisey and
Dayton Hill all won by technical falls in their respective weight divisions.
Braden Anderson and
Jordan Lomeli won by major decisions and
Tucker Tomlinson defeated his opponent on a technical fall in the 197lb weight division.
