Men's Basketball and Columbia Meet in WFH on Saturday

Ottawa has dropped two straight after falling 93-81 to McPherson College last Saturday at the Sport Center. OU shot 46.7 percent from the floor, 41.2 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. The Braves had three players in double figures, led by Deondre Buggage's 16 points.

This season, the Braves are averaging 82.5 points, 40.3 rebounds, and 14.6 assists per game. OU is shooting 45.2 percent from the floor, 34.4 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 74 percent from the free throw line.

OU is ranked 32nd in the NAIA in field goals attempted per game (66.4), 14th in defensive rebounds per game (30.1), 45th in total rebounds per game (40.3), and 20th in personal fouls per game (14.5).

Ottawa is led in scoring by Jayden Hibbitt. He is averaging 19.6 points per game. Hibbitt is shooting 52.9 percent from the floor. Angok Anyang leads the team in rebounds per game (9.6), Deondre Buggage is OU's leader in assists per game (4.4), and Kamren Woods leads Ottawa in steals per game (1.6).

The Braves are 3-2 inside of Wilson Field House this season. Ottawa is outscoring opponents 83-79 and is shooting 40.9 percent from the floor, 29.3 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 77.3 percent from the free throw line.

Saturday will be the first time that Ottawa University and Columbia College have played each other.

Marlon Allen is the team's leader in rebounding, averaging 8.1 rebounds per game. Isaiah Holden is CC's leader in assists (4.1) and steals (1.1) per game.

The Cougars are ranked 28th in the NAIA in 3-pt field goals made per game (9.2), 21st in 3-pt field goals attempted per game (27.3), 29th in offensive rebounds per game (12.7), 20th in defensive rebounds per game (29.7), 15th in total rebounds per game (42.5), 23rd in rebound margin per game (8.6), 39th in assists per game (16), seventh in turnovers per game (9.2), 38th in personal fouls per game (15.4), and 43rd in opponents' field goal percentage (.407).

Columbia has a record of 1-2 on the road this season. Away from Columbia, Mo., the Cougars are averaging 73.7 points per game and shooting 41.2 percent from the floor.

In the Cougars eight wins, they are averaging 83 points per game. In their three losses, Columbia is scoring 74 points per game.
