OTTAWA, Kan. – The No. 11 Ottawa University men's wrestling team came out with a 49-6 road win against the Saint Mary Spires on Thursday night, remaining undefeated during conference play for the last five years and winning their fifth straight KCAC regular season championship.
Ottawa racked up three wins by fall and two technical falls against the Spires, moving to a 4-0 record in the series history against Saint Mary.
The Braves clinched the regular season championship but still have two KCAC contests remaining next week against Morningside and Bethany. Ottawa then travels back to Leavenworth for the KCAC Championships on Feb. 18
th.
