FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The (RV)Ottawa University men's lacrosse team wrapped up a tough road trip against No. 2 Indiana Tech on Friday afternoon, falling to the Warriors 15-2.
The Braves slowed the tempo down in the first quarter, limiting the Warriors offensive possessions.
Jake Christopherson made a handful of saves before the Indiana Tech was able to score the game's first goal after eight minutes of play. The Warriors scored two more in quick succession before
Reid McDowell was able to get one back for OU to make the score 3-1 after one quarter.
Jacob Vincentini took matters into his own hands, starting the second quarter with a faceoff win and then proceeded to charge down the field and score to put the Braves down 3-2. Unfortunately that was as close as the Braves would get, with Indiana Tech scoring 12 straight goals to close out the game.
The Braves open conference play at home against Missouri Baptist next Saturday at 3 pm.
