Ottawa, Kan. - The Ottawa Braves lacrosse team defeated the Missouri Baptist Spartans in a lopsided 17-6 victory on Saturday afternoon at AdventHealth Field. The win improves Ottawa's record to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play, while Missouri Baptist drops to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

Ottawa's offense was led by
Dakota Lepker, who tallied five goals and one assist, and
Robert Roseberry, who contributed four goals and one assist.
Reid McDowell also chipped in with three goals, while
Vincent DeMarco and
Jake Noernberg each had two goals apiece.
Luke Spells and
Jack Brackin rounded out the scoring with one goal each.

Missouri Baptist's offense was led by Ryan Hicks with two goals, and Dylan Forbeck, Brock Pleis, Tanner Whittemore, and Caleb Tant each contributed one goal apiece.

The Braves dominated the game from the outset, jumping out to a 6-1 lead in the first period and extending their advantage to 10-3 by halftime. Despite a stronger effort in the second half, the Spartans were unable to mount a comeback.
