Biography

2023: Utilzing an extra COVID year, Noernburg dished out a team-high 26 assists which ranked 20th in the NAIA. He also scored 15 goals to finish with a total of 41 points. He appeared in 12 games with one start, primarily serving as the first substitute on following the face off specialist. Earned First Team All-KCAC Recognition. Noernberg owns the school record for most assists (108), surpassing former OU player Pearson Willis (87) this season. 

2022: Appeared in 14 games, making eight starts. Noernburg was ranked second on the team with 24 assists, and third in goals (17) and total points (41). He also scooped up 29 groundballs to rank sixth on the team in that category. 

2021: FIRST TEAM ALL-KCAC... As a junior, Noernberg played in all 12 games and made two starts. He was fourth in the nation and second in the conference with 25 assists. He added 15 goals on 78 shots, 39 (.500) of which were on target. His 40 points were second on the team. His 2.08 assists per game placed him in eighth in D1. He earned an assist in every game save for one, and had six multi-assist games, including a season-high five in the opener against St. Mary. He added 25 groundballs and caused three turnovers. 

2020: In a shortened sophomore season, Noernberg played in five games and made four starts. He had eight goals and 10 assists for 18 points. Noernberg had 16 ground balls. He finished the year ranked sixth in the NAIA in total assists (10), 11th in assists per game (2), 26th in total shots on goal (21), 32nd in points per game (3.6), 37th in total shots (31), and 38th in shots on goal per game (4.2).

2019:  Noernberg appeared in 13 games as a freshman. He scored 13 goals and had 23 assists for 36 points. Noernberg took 42 shots with 29 of them being on frame, collected 28 ground balls and caused three turnovers. He finished the season ranked 13th in the NAIA in assists per game (1.770) and 14th in total assists (23).

High School: Noernberg participated in the Windy City and Fountain City All-Star Games. He was an Honorable Mention All-Metro selection as a junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Scott and Michelle Noernberg ... business administration major. His brother, Brady Noernberg is a member of the men's lacrosse team at Rockhurst University.
