"I'm really happy with our performance this weekend," said head coach
Jim Whittaker. "Competing at the highest level such as a meet like this pushed us to hang with top-class competition. Heck, there were even Olympians in some of our flights. The wind was a little difficult this weekend, but our athletes just shrugged it off and still came out with some personal records. I would also like to thank former Ottawa T&F coach and current Director of Meets at KU, Tim Byers, for setting up such a wonderful event."
