Ottawa Takes Home First Place at the OU Fall Invitational

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's golf team took home first place at the Ottawa Fall Invitational that concluded on Tuesday afternoon. Ottawa finished in first with a team round one score of 292 and round two of 299 (591).

Ethan Brumbaugh secured first place at back to back tournaments hosted by Ottawa. He finished first overall at the OU Spring Invite last year and then the OU Fall Invitational. Brumbaugh shot a 74 and a 66, which ties the school record, in round two (140). Sebastian Camacho took home second place with a combined score of 143 (69, 74). Arthur Karouby had a round one score of 72 and round two of 75 (147) to finish fourth overall. Tyler Duncan finished tied for 15th with a combined score of 160 (81, 79). Spencer Seachris tied for 18th with a round one score of 77 and round two of 84 (161). Devun Salazar shot a score of 82 in round one and an 81 in round two to combine for 163 and tied for 22nd. Trey Bones tied for 26th with a combined score of 167 (81, 86). Tristan Martinez shot a round one score of 94 and round two of 87 (181) to place 35th.

Up Next
The Braves will return to action on Monday, October 23rd at the Sand Creek Intercollegiate at the Sand Creek Station. The Sand Creek Intercollegiate will be a two-day tournament.
