Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women's soccer team got another draw as they played York to a 1-1 result at AdventHealth Field on Friday afternoon. The game initially began on Saturday, September 16 and saw York get on the board first as Gracie Reynolds scored a 22nd minute goal. Ottawa tied the game up in the 40th minute with a
Jessenia Velez goal, assisted by
Elle Haan. After a halftime weather delay, the two teams took the field for the second half. They played for 21 more minutes and the game was suspended in the 66th minute. Ottawa and York took the field again on Friday, September 22, where both teams played a goalless session.
Ottawa returns to the field on Saturday, September 23 as they take on Kansas Wesleyan University at AdventHealth Field. That match is scheduled to kick off at 1 PM.
