Men's Soccer Rolls Past Kansas Wesleyan

Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa men's soccer team cruised to a 4-1 victory over Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon at AdventHealth Field. Kansas Wesleyan started off the scoring in the 11th minute with a Jesus Moreno goal, and that was the only goal scored in the first half. Ottawa tied the game up in the 65th minute with a Toby Whitham goal, and wasted no time to take the lead, finding the back of the net in the 68th minute, that goal scored by Slobodan Novicevic. Bence Molnar added to the lead in the 73rd with a free kick goal, and Novicevic capped off the scoring with his second goal of the game in the 81st minute.
Ottawa (4-3-1, 3-1-0 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, September 27 as they host Southwestern College at AdventHealth Field. That match is scheduled to kick ff at 7:30 PM.
