Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa men's soccer team extended their winning streak to three as they dispatched Avila by a score of 7-0 on Wednesday evening.
Slobodan Novicevic started the scoring in the 15th minute, and
Cale Scott extended the Braves' lead in the 18th minute.
Alonso Basauri scored in the 37th minute to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Toby Whitham scored in the 63rd and 76th minutes, and Scott and Basauri added to their total with goals in the 65th and 85th minute, respectively.
Ottawa outshot Avila 29 to five, and led shots on goal 14 to two.
Marko de Sa Faria made two saves en route to a clean sheet.
Ottawa (5-7-1, 4-3-1 KCAC) is back in action on Saturday, October 19 as they host Bethel College at AdventHealth Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
