McPherson, Kan. - The Ottawa men's soccer team got back in the win column as they defeated McPherson 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Ottawa struck early, with Bence Molnar scoring in the sixth minute, assisted by Cale Scott. Scott scored a goal of his own in the 54th minute, assisted by Alonso Basauri. Dion Klaassen finished the scoring in the 86th minute with an assist by Owain Parker.
Ottawa led in shots, 18 to four, as well as shots on goal, 13 to two. Nicolo Cinelli made two saves en route to a clean sheet.
Ottawa (7-7-2, 6-3-2 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, October 30 as they host Evangel University at AdventHealth Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
