Women's Basketball Travels to McPherson on Saturday

The Braves lost their second straight game, falling to Tabor College 83-65 in Wilson Field House on Wednesday evening. Ottawa shot 50 percent from the floor, 37.5 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 57.1 percent from the free throw line.

Through seven games this season, Ottawa is averaging 76.1 points, 39.3 rebounds, and 12.3 assists per game. The Braves are shooting 40.5 percent from the floor, 30.8 percent from behind the 3-pt line, and 69.3 percent from the free throw line.

OU is ranked 53rd in the NAIA in points per game (76.1), 30th in free throws made per game (16.4), 34th in free throws attempted per game (23.7), and 45th in opponent turnovers per game (21.3).

Kennedy Bankett leads OU in scoring (14), Abbie Sextro is Ottawa's leader in rebounding (6.9), Janiyah Hendricks leads the team in assists (2.7) per game, Dominique Schutte is OU's leader in blocks (0.6) per game, and Bankett is the team's leader in steals (2.2) per game.

The McPherson College Sport Center has a new name and it is now called Holman Fieldhouse. It was named after Craig and Karen Holman who gave more than $1 million for the expansion and remodeling of the Sport Center as part of the Building Community comprehensive fundraising campaign.
