Towey Earns First Place at the OKWU Spring Classic

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – The Ottawa University men's golf team finished in third place at the OKWU Spring Classic on Monday and Tuesday. Ottawa secured third place with a score of 617, OU shot a 306 in round one and a 311 in round two.

Carson Towey won the OKWU Spring Classic by finishing two under (142), Towey shot a 68 in round one and a 74 in round two. Sebastian Camacho placed 11th with a round one score of 79 and round two of 75 (154). Arthur Karouby  scored an 77 and an 83 (165) to come in 24th. Spencer Seachris had a combined score of 165 (82, 83) to place 34th. Ethan Brumbaugh finished in 37th with a two-round score of 166 (87, 79).

The Braves will next compete at the Kansas Wesleyan Invitational in Manhattan, Kansas on April 8th and 9th. The Kansas Wesleyan Invitational will be at the Colbert Hills Golf Course.
