Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa women's lacrosse team finished their regular season in resounding fashion as they beat Saint Mary 24-0 on Wednesday afternoon at AdventHealth Field.
Ottawa did not allow a single goal, and used periods of 11-0, 3-0, 5-0, and 5-0 to aid their win.
Mackenzie Simmons lead Ottawa with nine goals,
KaiAnna Senne scored four goals.
Isabella Pagliei scored three goals,
Curstin Brown and
Faith Ruoff scored two goals each. Four players scored one goal each.
Santillan made six assists, Simmons made three. Pagliei made two assists, Brown made one.
Shelby Bearden made two saves.
Ottawa finishes their regular season with a 6-7 overall record and 3-1 in KCAC play. The Braves will play in the KCAC Tournament next on April 18 in St. Louis at Missouri Baptist University. Opponent and game times are TBD.
