The Braves defeated Midland University 21-7 last Saturday in Fremont, Neb. Ottawa had 333 yards of offense, 295 yards through the air and 38 yards rushing. Midland had 225 yards of offense, five yards rushing and 220 yards passing.
Madysen Carrera was 25-33 through the air for 295 yards and three touchdowns. Carrera also led OU in rushing with 37 yards on five carries.
Cynthia Homs led the Braves with six receptions. She had 92 yards and one touchdown.
