Warner University: Homs was twice named Sun Conference Player of the Year and earned All-Sun honors as a receiver and linebacker. As a freshman, she was named Sun Conference Player of the Week three times. Homs caught 122 passes for 1,450 yards and 25 touchdowns. Homs also ran for one touchdown. On the defensive side of the ball, she had 123 flag pulls and seven interceptions. In her sophomore season, Homs caught 91 passes for 1,011 yards and 18 touchdowns. On defense, she had 89 flag pulls, one sack, six interceptions, and one defensive touchdown.

High School: Homs lettered in flag football, basketball, and was a member of the Junior ROTC at Lecanto High School.
