Ottawa, Kan.- The Ottawa men's lacrosse team picked up another win as they defeated Midland by a score of 24-3 on Saturday afternoon at AdventHealth Field.
Ottawa got off to an early lead with a 5-1 first period, then held Midland scoreless in the middle periods, 11-0 and 5-0. Ottawa kept their lead with a 3-2 fourth period.
Vicent DeMarco scored seven goals,
Reid McDowell scored five.
David Wiley scored four,
Samuel Snyder scored three.
Ethan NewMyer and
Jack Brackin scored two goals each, and
William Carroll scored one. DeMarco made four assists, McDowell and NewMyer made two each. Wiley and Brackin made one assist each.
Jake Christopherson made two saves.
Ottawa (4-6, 2-1 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, April 10 at 7 PM as they host the University of Saint Mary at AdventHealth Field.
