GREAT BEND, Kan. – The Ottawa University baseball team's season ended with a 3-2 loss to Evangel University in a KCAC Tournament elimination game on Friday afternoon at the Great Bend Sports Complex.\
Evangel scored a run in the bottom of the first and two in the bottom of the third, taking a 3-0 lead over the Braves. Ottawa cut into the deficit with two runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Jackson Alaniz doubled to left.
Brent Swearingen hit a home run and the Braves were within 3-2.
Ottawa tried to rally in the eighth inning.
Tyler Farnham reached first with a single to center. The Braves were not able to score. In the ninth, the Braves went three up and three down as Evangel took the 3-2 victory.

The Braves finish the season with an overall record of 29-23 and a fourth place finish in the KCAC with a mark of 22-14.
