Ottawa, KAN. - The Ottawa women's soccer team suffered another defeat as they fell to (9) Oklahoma Wesleyan at AdventHealth Field on Wednesday evening.
The visiting Eagles controlled much of the game, outshooting Ottawa 27 to five and taking ten shots on goal to the Braves' one. Oklahoma Wesleyan found the back of the net once in each half, scoring in the 11th minute with a Taylor Witthaur goal, and in the 47th minute with an Ana Chavez goal.
Alondra Carbajal-Pettry made eight saves in goal for Ottawa.
Ottawa (0-6-1, 0-2-1 KCAC) returns to the field on Saturday, September 28 as they travel to Salina, Kansas for a match at Kansas Wesleyan University. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 AM.
