Salina, Kan. - The Ottawa women's soccer team suffered another loss as they were defeated by Kansas Wesleyan by a score of 3-2 on Saturday morning.
Grace Conner opened the scoring for the Coyotes in the 14th minute, which gave the home team a 1-0 halftime lead. Ottawa responded with a goal of their own in the 57th minute to level the score, but Conner found the back of the net a second time in the 88th minute to put Kansas Wesleyan back in front, and Emma Gervy added an insurance goal in the 89th minute. Ottawa got one back in the 90th minute but it was too little, too late. 
Kansas Wesleyan outshot Ottawa 24 to five, and took twelve shots on goal to the Braves' two. Alondra Carbajal-Pettry made two saves in goal, Tea Newcomb made seven.
Ottawa (0-7-1, 0-3-1 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, October 2 as they travel to Winfield for an away match at Southwestern College. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
