COLUMBIA, Mo. – The (RV) Ottawa University women's volleyball team fell 3-0; 25-20, 25-17, 25-15; to (18) Central Methodist University on Monday afternoon at the Southwell Complex.
How it Happened
- With the Braves leading 15-10, Central Methodist scored seven straight points to take a 17-15 lead over OU. Ottawa could not rebound and the Eagles took a 25-20 victory.
- Central Methodist took an 8-3 lead over the Braves in set two. Ottawa attempted to rally and after a Loranie Ruiz service ace, the Braves were within 19-14. OU was not able to complete the comeback and Central Methodist took the 25-17 victory.
- Ottawa fell behind 4-1 in set three. The slow start doomed the Braves and CMU took the 25-15 victory.
