OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's wrestling team will compete against the Friends Falcons on Friday in Wilson Field House.
On Friday, Ottawa will honor five seniors,
Bobby Robinson,
Jayden Nowell,
Robert Ramsey,
Marcus Grist and Belinda Grist.
The Braves came up short in their dual against Avila, 31-21.
Robert Ramsey won by forfeit in the 125lb weight class.
Bobby Robinson secured a fall victory in the 141lb weight class. In the 174lb weight class,
Parker Guge took down Josh Martinez by fall.
Jaron Alf won in the last seconds in the 197lb weight class on a 4-1 decision over Blake Becker.
Ottawa is 3-0 in history against the Friends. OU most recently beat Friends in December of 2023, the Braves won against Friends 45-6.
The senior night presentation will take place after the men's dual at 6 PM.
