OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's wrestling team will host the Bethany Swedes on Tuesday in Wilson Field House. The dual was originally scheduled to be in Lindsborg, Kansas but the dual was moved to Ottawa.
The Ottawa University men's wrestling team was defeated by the Friends Falcons on Friday, January 17
th, 37-9.
Jayden Nowell won on a fall against Gunnar Henderson in the 141lb weight division.
Jaron Alf won a 4-2 decision over Payton Douglas in the 197lb weight class.
The Braves honored five seniors for senior night at the dual against Friends,
Robert Ramsey,
Bobby Robinson,
Marcus Grist,
Jayden Nowell and Belinda Grist.
Ottawa is 7-0 all time against the Bethany Swedes. Ottawa last defeated the Swedes in 2023, 52-3.
