OTTAWA, Kan. - The Ottawa women's soccer team earned another point as they tied York 1-1 on Saturday evening at AdventHealth Field.
After a deadlocked first half, Ottawa finally broke through in the 72nd minute on a
Melissa Grohmann goal assisted by
Peyton Hack. York equalized in the 81st minute to eventually salvage a tie.
York led total shots 16 to nine and shots on goal nine to six.
Makena Tapia made eight saves in goal for Ottawa.
Ottawa (4-6-5, 3-4-4 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, October 29 as they host Friends University in their 2025 home finale at AdventHealth Field. That game is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 PM.
