OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's wrestling team hits the mats for the first time on Saturday at the Falcon Open on Saturday. The Falcon Open will be in Wichita, Kansas.

Dalton Weidl returns for his second season as Head Coach of the Ottawa Men's Wrestling team. In his second season, he has grown the team and helped develop the culture of the program. He is assisted by Parker Wright, Hunter Wagner, Randy Hinderliter and Graduate Assistant Angelo Reyes.

Jaron Alf, Stevie Elwell, Cale Hein, Asher Larson, Jayden Nowell, Benjamin Pope, Spencer Rochelle, Dustin Springfield Jr. and Dylan Weidl are back for the Braves in 2025-26.

The newcomers for Ottawa are Dylan Allen, Skyler Anderson, Parker Burk, Alexander Canisales, Andrew Fuerstenberg, Julian Gorring, Trenten Harris, John Helton, Kallen Koelzer, Zachary McMurray-Dusseau, Samuel Moery, Diego Morales, Colston Parks, Dean Quilla, Matthew Reyna, Jaelyn Sides, Andrew Smith, Espyn Sweers, Zach Thomas, Trea Tralar, Blaine Turpin, Thomas Baer Webb and Peyton Westby.

Julian Gorring comes in 23^rd in the 184lb weight division in the NAIA Preseason Individual Rankings.
