McPHERSON, Kan. - The Ottawa women's soccer team tasted defeat again as they fell to McPherson by a 0-3 scoreline on Saturday afternoon.
The game took some time to get going, as neither team was able to score before the half. McPherson changed that in the second half, scoring goals in the 51st, 78th, and 83rd minutes.
Ottawa lead total shots 13 to nine and shots on goal six to five. 
Makena Tapia made two saves in goal for Ottawa.
Ottawa (2-6-2, 1-4-1 KCAC) returns to the field on Wednesday, October 8 as they host Evangel University at AdventHealth Field. That game is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 PM.
