McPHERSON, Kan. - The Ottawa men's soccer team have now won three straight as they beat McPherson 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.
Matias Mazieres scored the first goal of the game in the 24th minute, assisted by 
Felipe Padierna. 
Simon Kindt doubled the Braves lead with a 38th minute penalty kick goal, sending Ottawa into halfime with a 2-0 lead. Kindt added to his tally with Ottawa's second goal of the half in the 61st minute, and 
Matt Myers scored in the same minute with a 30 yard strike. Matias Matzieres scored again in the 75th minute, assisted by 
Daniel Raja, and 
Drago Kecman followed up, once again in the 75th, assisted by Mazieres. Mazieres completed his hat trick in the 78th minute with an assist from 
Thomas Bloomfield.
Ottawa led total shots 17 to twelve and shots on goal twelve to two. 
David Martinez made two saves in goal for Ottawa en route to a joint clean sheet with 
Nicolo Cinelli.
Ottawa (5-1-5, 4-0-2 KCAC) hits the field again on Wednesday, October 8 as they return home to host Evangel University at AdventHealth Field. That game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 PM.
