(21) Men’s Soccer Advances in NAIA Tournament With Win Over Harris-Stowe

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Ottawa men's soccer team advanced in the NAIA National Tournament as they beat Harris-Stowe State University 1-0 on Thursday afternoon.

The game was deadlocked for most of it though Ottawa peppered the Harris-Stowe goal, and the Braves broke through in the 78th minute when Alonso Basauri found Antonio Natalucci.

Ottawa led total shots 16 to four and shots on goal four to two. David Martinez made two saves in goal en route to a clean sheet. This win marks Ottawa men's soccer's first at the NAIA National Tournament since 1971.

Ottawa (14-2-6, 10-0-3 KCAC) advances to take on opening site host Lindsey Wilson College on Saturday, November 22 at 4:00 PM.
