OTTAWA, Kan. - Ottawa University Director of Athletics, Janet Eaton-Smith has announced that that Scott O'Dell has officially stepped down from his role as Director of Athletic Performance.

O'Dell will be joining Chiefs Fit, a commercial gym/performance center in Overland Park, Kan. and the Country Club Plaza that is in partnership with the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs. He will be an Elite Personal Trainer and Sport Performance Coach.

"We sincerely thank Coach O'Dell for his dedication and leadership," said Eaton-Smith. "He has left a lasting impact on our athletic programs, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors."

A national search for a new Director of Athletic Performance is underway.
