Sioux City, IOWA - The Ottawa women's bowling team began their postseason at the KCAC Tournament in Sioux City.
The Braves started their tournament with a 1-3 loss to Saint Mary (KS), dropping them into the lower bracket. They then stayed alive by sweeping Saint Mary (NE) 3-0 and beating Kansas Wesleyan 3-1, before taking down Midland, 3-2. This put Ottawa up against McPherson for a chance to make the championship. The Braves got the win and then some, sweeping the Bulldogs and moving them on to the championship against tournament hosts Morningside. They would have to beat the Mustangs twice, were unable to reset the bracket, losing 3-4 and giving them the runner-up finish.
Ottawa continues their postseason at the USBC ISC and ITC Sectionals from March 7-9 in Fort Worth, Texas. The tournaments will be held at Cityview Lanes.
