Gainesville, FLA. - The Ottawa women's indoor track & field team completed their season as they competed at the NAIA Indoor National Championships.
On Thursday,
JayOnna Perry competed in the pentathlon. She finished ninth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.16, eighth in the high jump with a jump of 1.59m, 14th in the shot put with a shot of 8.64m, 14th in the long jump with a jump of 4.95m, and third in the 800m run with a time of 2:24.46. She finished tenth overall with 3,352 points. Later that day, the 4x400m relay consisting of Jah-Nisha Campbell, Tanzania Barnes, Arianna Mastin, and
Jordyn Weems finished 23rd in the prelims with a time of 4:00.19.
Friday,
Jordyn Weems started the day in the long jump, where she finished ninth with a jump of 5.70m. Sunday was Aba Sam's day to compete, and she finished ninth in the triple jump with a jump of 11.90m.
