OTTAWA, Kan. – The Ottawa University men's volleyball team defeated Central Christian College 3-0; 25-12, 25-20, 25-13; on Tuesday evening in the Mabee Center.
How it Happened
- Ottawa dominated set one. Three straight service aces by Alex Galvan gave the Braves a 9-2 lead. A service ace by Kalena Launiu and a Tiger attacking error gave the Braves a 19-8 lead. Ottawa did not allow Central Christian to rally and OU took the 25-12 victory.
- The Tigers took the early 14-7 lead in set two. Ottawa rallied, tying the set on a CCC attack error. A kill by Marton Zarka and a Tim Schutzbach service ace gave the Braves a 21-18 lead. Ottawa never surrendered its lead and the Braves took the 25-20 victory.
- Ottawa raced out to the 7-1 lead in set three and never looked back, taking the 25-13 victory.
